September Pop Ups: London North & South, and Bristol

September is going to be our busiest month so far in terms of pop ups, and it's fitting that it coincides with #secondhandseptember, an initiative launched by Oxfam to get more people to consider vintage shopping for clothes, on environmental and ethical grounds.

Sunday 15 September, The Assembly Market, Brixton Village, Coldharbour Ln, Brixton, London SW9 8PS - 11am-5pm. We are delighted to be joining a great set of creative businesses, all promoting slow fashion and a more circular economy, in the beautiful surroundings of Brixton Village, with its array of funky shops and interesting foodie places.

Wednesday 18 - Sunday 22 September, PopUpN16, 147 Stoke Newington High Street, N16 0NY Map - we are joining forces with five other East London businesses for a five-day pop up.

The lifestyle store will offer a mix of vegan skincare, prints, lighting, interior accessories, upcycled textiles, chic handmade knitwear, our own French workwear & more, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Slow living, supporting local businesses and artists, very high end quality long-lasting items, give this ethical shopping a low carbon footprint. For that matter we are happy to be open on Stoke Newington Church Street’s first Car Free Day (Sunday 22 September).

Opening hours:

Wed 18th: 2-8pm

Thursday 19th: 10am-6pm

Fri 20th: 10am-8pm

Sat 21st: 10am-6pm

Sun 22nd: 10am-5pm

All welcome. You are cordially invited to the launch night on 18th of September, 6-8pm, RSVP here.

General info about the store here.

Saturday 28 September, Good Chemistry Brewing, 2 William St, Bristol BS2 0RG, 2-8pm. Map.

Good Chemistry Brewing seek not just to produce great quality beer, but also celebrate the community and provide enriching social experiences. They regularly run events at their welcoming brewery tap, so we were chuffed to be asked to join them for a day. French workwear and beer, what's not to like?
