Lizzie is a visible mender and repair specialist. She uses darning and mending techniques to celebrate signs of wear and in doing so creates unique, personal garments. She is interested in the environmental impact of mending our clothes, and the meditative and creative process of stitching by hand.
The garment itself is a classic cotton chore jacket, with faded stains, now covered by the embroidery.
