French navy 'Marine Nationale' sailor top or smock, from the time when national service was compulsory, and young men who lived in coastal areas ended up in the 'Marine'. Late 1960s or early 1970s, from the naval Breton base of Brest. Please note first picture from another piece we had, almost identical in a similar size.
 
Classic V-neck collar. Very dark blue colour with red anchor motif on one sleeve. One red stripe on each sleeve.
 
Removable large blue collar.
