Sun-faded distressed French chore jacket in a Large size (24" pit to pit), made by great rare old brand from Eastern France 'Bleu de Verdun'. Most likely 1950s.
Classic cut with 3 patch pockets with double stitching, 5 front buttons, one inner pocket, small round collar typical of the era.  
Distressed condition, with multiple layers of repairs  carried out over time, with hand stitch repairs, patches, frayed collar, frayed hem and gashes. Please see photos.
Please note the back length is an inch shorter than your usual jacket (it is 27").
