Houndstooth jackets are always related to food trades, most commonly chef or butcher. This garment is made by great old brand from Eastern France, Bragard. It has a very unusual cut with pleats at the front and back, that we have never come across before. It makes it look quite smart and almost high fashion. The photos don't do it justice.
M/L size (23.5" pit to pit, marked 54-56). Blazer-style collar, four small grey front buttons, one patch pocket on the chest, Bragard inner label. Pleats across the front and back.
Fabric is a lighter cotton the twill has a shirt /shacket quality to it. Made in Epinal France.
