Beautiful brown duck canvas trousers made for SNCF train drivers between the 1940s and the early 1980s. Designed for rainy weather, they were part of a set with the coat and a bucket hat. 38W 31L. Cloth label 100 78.
The thick cotton canvas was treated/waxed for extra protection. The piece feels heavy. It has a 'western' style, with cinch buckle at the back, extra buttons for braces. Button fly.  1960s or older.
Marble effect on the fabric from repeated washes, we recommend washing at 30 degrees celsius with the garment inside out.
